Ones Vintage
Consignment Terms & Conditions
These Consignment Terms & Conditions apply to consignment services provided by Vintageone Trading Limited (“the Company” or “Ones Vintage”).
By submitting an item to the Company for consignment, the consignor acknowledges that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
1. Acceptance of Consignment Items
Ones Vintage reserves the right to accept or decline any item for consignment, purchase or sale at its discretion and without obligation to provide a reason.
Submission of an item for preliminary evaluation does not constitute formal acceptance for consignment. The Company may consider factors including the brand, style, age, condition, authenticity, market demand and other relevant circumstances when determining whether an item will be accepted.
2. Ownership, Provenance & Authenticity
The consignor represents and warrants that they are the lawful owner of the consigned item, or have been duly authorised by the lawful owner to sell the item, and that the item is not connected with theft, fraud, unlawful transactions, unresolved third-party interests or other illegal activity.
Title to the consigned item shall remain with the consignor until the sale has been successfully completed. Delivery of an item to Ones Vintage for consignment does not constitute a transfer of ownership.
All consigned items must be authentic.
The Company reserves the right to request purchase receipts, payment records, authentication certificates, provenance information, proof of ownership or other documents that the Company considers necessary.
If Ones Vintage has grounds to suspect that an item is counterfeit, unlawfully obtained or subject to material concerns regarding its authenticity or provenance, the Company reserves the right to reject or immediately terminate the consignment.
Where an item is suspected to be counterfeit or connected with unlawful activity, the Company reserves the right to report the matter and/or provide relevant information to the police, customs authorities or other appropriate government or law-enforcement authorities. The Company may also refuse future services to the consignor and place the consignor on its internal restricted-service list.
Where additional authentication, inspection, administrative handling or return arrangements are required because of authenticity concerns, provenance issues, non-compliance with the Company’s consignment requirements or inaccurate information supplied by the consignor, the Company reserves the right to charge authentication, administrative, handling, shipping and other related fees.
3. Condition Disclosure
The consignor is responsible for providing a truthful, accurate and complete disclosure of the item’s condition before the consignment is confirmed, including but not limited to:
- Spa or maintenance treatments
- Recolouring
- Repairs
- Replacement parts or accessories
- Alterations
- Material damage or defects
- Any other matter that may affect the condition, value or authenticity of the item
If, after receiving the item, Ones Vintage determines that its actual condition materially differs from the information, photographs or representations provided by the consignor, the Company reserves the right to reject or terminate the consignment.
Any authentication, administrative handling, return shipping, re-delivery or other related costs arising from such circumstances shall be borne by the consignor.
4. Item, Condition & Accessory Records
At the time an item is delivered to Ones Vintage, the consignor should confirm the overall condition of the item and all accessories supplied with it.
The Company may document the condition of the item and the accessories received by means of photographs, videos, written condition records, intake forms or other appropriate records. Such records may be used as a reference for any subsequent comparison of the item’s condition and accessories.
Accessories may include, without limitation, dust bags, boxes, straps, locks, keys, clochettes, certificates, receipts, tags, pouches and other accompanying items.
Only items and accessories recorded in the Company’s intake or consignment records will be considered to have been formally received and held by Ones Vintage.
If the consignor believes that the intake record does not accurately reflect the item or accessories delivered, the discrepancy should be raised with the Company at the time the consignment is confirmed.
5. Evaluation & Agreed Payout Amount
Ones Vintage does not operate on a fixed consignment commission percentage.
The consignor may specify the amount they wish to receive upon the successful sale of the item (the “Agreed Payout Amount”).
Once the Agreed Payout Amount has been confirmed by both parties, Ones Vintage may determine the final listed selling price based on the item’s condition, prevailing market conditions, sales channel, operating costs and other relevant factors.
Unless otherwise agreed, upon successful completion of a sale in accordance with the agreed terms, the consignor will receive the Agreed Payout Amount.
6. Minimum Consignment Period & Early Withdrawal
The minimum consignment period is one month, commencing from the date on which Ones Vintage formally accepts the item for consignment.
If the consignor requests to withdraw the item before completion of the one-month minimum consignment period, the Company reserves the right to charge an early withdrawal fee equal to 5% of the Agreed Payout Amount.
All applicable charges must be settled before the item is returned to the consignor.
7. Selling Price & Payout Adjustments
Ones Vintage may adjust the public selling price of an item according to market conditions, the item’s condition, sales channel and other sales-related factors.
Where a proposed price adjustment would affect the consignor’s Agreed Payout Amount, the Company will first discuss the proposed adjustment with the consignor.
Any reduction in the consignor’s Agreed Payout Amount will only be made upon mutual agreement between the parties.
8. Negotiation, Reservation & Cancellation
Once an item is under active negotiation with a potential buyer, reserved, pending payment or otherwise involved in an ongoing transaction, the consignor may not cancel the consignment or request immediate return of the item.
The consignor agrees to allow the Company a reasonable period of time to complete the ongoing transaction or confirm that the proposed transaction has been cancelled.
9. Authorisation to Market, Display & Sell
During the consignment period, the consignor authorises Ones Vintage to photograph, film, describe, display, list, advertise, market and promote the consigned item for the purpose of facilitating its sale.
The Company may display and offer the item for sale through its physical boutiques, website, social-media accounts, online store, livestream channels, partner platforms, third-party marketplaces and any other sales or promotional channels that the Company considers appropriate.
The Company retains the relevant rights in photographs, videos, written descriptions, designs and other promotional materials created by Ones Vintage in connection with the item.
10. Payment to the Consignor
An item being marked as sold does not necessarily mean that the transaction has been fully completed.
A transaction will generally be considered complete only after the buyer’s payment has been received, the item has been delivered to the buyer, and Ones Vintage has confirmed completion of the transaction.
Under normal circumstances, the Agreed Payout Amount will be arranged within approximately 3 to 5 business days after the transaction has been confirmed as completed.
11. Shipping & Collection Costs
Unless otherwise agreed by the Company in writing, all shipping costs for sending an item to Ones Vintage and returning an unsold, rejected, terminated or otherwise returnable consignment item to the consignor shall be borne by the consignor.
If an item remains unsold and the consignor elects to have the item shipped back, all related shipping, packaging, administrative and handling costs shall also be borne by the consignor.
12. Shipping Risk & Insurance
Items may be subject to loss, theft, damage or other unforeseen events while being transported to Ones Vintage or returned to the consignor.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, transportation risk shall be borne by the consignor.
The Company strongly recommends using a fully trackable shipping service with adequate insurance coverage based on the actual value of the item.
The consignor is responsible for arranging and purchasing any shipping insurance considered appropriate and for understanding the applicable coverage, exclusions, claim requirements, compensation limits and other terms of such insurance.
Important: Further terms relating to shipping, delivery, courier handling, customs clearance, shipping risk, insurance, loss, damage, returned or undeliverable shipments and other transportation-related matters are set out in our Terms & Conditions .
13. Natural Ageing, Display & Storage
The consignor acknowledges and accepts that vintage and luxury items may naturally age or undergo changes in condition as a result of their age, materials, pre-existing condition, environment, display or prolonged storage.
Such changes may include, without limitation:
- Natural leather discolouration
- Dryness or cracking
- Hardware oxidation or discolouration
- Stickiness or coating deterioration
- Interior deterioration or peeling
- Changes in odour
- Loss of shape
- Material brittleness
- Other natural deterioration associated with the item’s materials, age or pre-existing condition
The Company shall not be responsible for changes arising naturally from the item’s materials, age, inherent condition or normal ageing where such changes are not caused by improper handling by the Company.
14. Taxes, Duties, Banking & Other Charges
Any taxes, customs duties, import or export charges, banking fees, transfer fees, currency-conversion charges or other costs applicable to the consignor in connection with the consignment, shipping, return of an item or receipt of payment shall be the responsibility of the consignor.
15. Identity Verification, Contact Information & Personal Data
For the purposes of transaction security, verifying the provenance of an item and the identity of the consignor, preventing fraud, and administering the consignment, payment and related processes, the Company reserves the right to request such identity and contact information as it considers necessary.
Such information may include the consignor’s name, telephone number, email address, correspondence address, identification documents, payment information and other information required by the Company.
The consignor is responsible for ensuring that all information provided is truthful, accurate, complete and valid.
The Company will not disclose the consignor’s personal identity information to the buyer merely as a result of the sale, except where disclosure is necessary for completion of the consignment, payment processing, identity verification, compliance with legal or regulatory requirements, or disclosure to relevant service providers, government authorities or law-enforcement agencies where appropriate.
16. Unsold, Returned & Uncollected Items
Ones Vintage does not guarantee that any consigned item will be successfully sold.
Where the consignor requests the return of an item, or where Ones Vintage notifies the consignor to collect an unsold, rejected, terminated or otherwise returnable item, the consignor must arrange collection within 30 days of the Company’s collection notice.
If the item remains uncollected after expiry of the 30-day period, the Company reserves the right, commencing on Day 31, to charge a storage fee of HK$200 per item per day until the item is collected or otherwise dealt with by the Company in accordance with these Terms.
All accumulated storage fees, shipping costs and other applicable charges must be settled in full before the item is released to the consignor.
Where an item remains uncollected for an extended period, the Company reserves the right to deal with the item at its discretion.
17. Return of Item, Condition & Accessory Confirmation
Upon return of an item, the consignor should inspect the condition of the item and confirm all accessories recorded in the Company’s intake or consignment records.
Where the item is collected in person, the consignor should inspect the item and its accessories before leaving the Company’s premises. Any apparent difference from the original intake record, damage or missing accessory should be reported immediately so that the Company may verify the matter.
Where the item is returned by delivery or courier, any claim relating to the condition of the item, shipping damage, parcel contents or a discrepancy in accessories must be reported to the Company within 24 hours of receipt.
For all items returned by delivery or courier, the consignor is required to record a complete, continuous and unedited unboxing video.
The video must clearly show the parcel before opening, the shipping label, the unopened packaging, the complete opening process, and the item and all accessories immediately after removal from the parcel.
Any claim concerning the condition of the returned item, shipping damage, missing accessories, parcel contents or any other delivery-related discrepancy must be supported by the complete unboxing video, together with clear photographs and any other relevant supporting evidence requested by the Company.
Where a complete, continuous and unedited unboxing video is not provided, the Company may be unable to accept or process any claim relating to the condition of the returned item, shipping damage, missing accessories, parcel contents or other delivery-related discrepancies.
In reviewing any reported discrepancy, the Company may refer to its intake records, photographs, videos, condition records, accessory records and other relevant documentation.
If no discrepancy is reported within the applicable period above, the item and accessories will be deemed to have been returned in accordance with the relevant records and accepted by the consignor.
Changes resulting from the item’s age, materials, pre-existing condition, ordinary display, reasonable handling or natural ageing shall not be treated as damage caused by the Company.
Where, following verification, the Company confirms that a material discrepancy affecting the item or a recorded accessory arose while the item was in the Company’s custody and was not attributable to natural ageing, ordinary wear or the inherent characteristics of the item, the Company will discuss the matter further with the consignor.
Shipping & Delivery: For additional terms relating to shipping, delivery, courier handling, customs, shipping risk, insurance, loss, damage and other transportation-related matters, please refer to our Terms & Conditions .
18. Force Majeure & Events Beyond Our Control
The Company shall not be responsible for loss, damage, delay or inability to perform the consignment service arising from circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, flooding, war, riots, civil disturbance, government action, public-health events, transportation or logistics disruption, major system failures or other unforeseeable and uncontrollable circumstances.

Vintageone Trading Limited reserves the right to amend, update or supplement these Consignment Terms & Conditions from time to time without prior notice.
The latest version will be published on the Company’s website.
Continued use of the Company’s consignment services or submission of items for consignment following any update shall constitute the consignor’s acknowledgement and acceptance of the latest version of these Consignment Terms & Conditions.
