About This Piece

The Kelly Cut takes the Kelly’s flap, narrow front straps and turnlock into a 31 cm long clutch, with only 2 cm of depth. On this Square R example, shiny black Niloticus crocodile makes the scale pattern central to the broad front panel, while gold-tone hardware marks the closure. A dust bag, copy of the receipt and copy CITES paperwork accompany the piece; the latter is documentation related to the exotic material, not an authentication certificate.
