This Hermès Kelly 35 sets blue denim across the broad front and side panels beneath a dark brown Box leather flap, handle and straps. The material change is especially visible where the leather closure runs across the denim body. Hermès identifies the paired side straps and turnlock as functional elements of the Kelly design; here they also draw the eye to the meeting of the two materials.

Measuring 35 × 24 × 12 cm, this Square C example includes its detachable shoulder strap, lock, keys and clochette, as well as a dust bag.
