The Hermès Haut à Courroies is taller than a standard Birkin relative to its width, reflecting the design’s original purpose of carrying riding equipment. Hermès identifies the HAC as its first bag, initially made for saddles and boots. On this 32 × 29 × 16 cm example, dark Ébène hair-on Troika panels and Swift leather divide the broad front into contrasting surfaces.

Palladium-tone hardware defines the belted closure. The Square K piece is accompanied by its lock, keys and dust bag.
