Matelassé refers to the quilted treatment that shapes the diamond pattern on this black lambskin Chanel single flap. The stitching continues across the back as well as the front, while a small gold-tone double C sits on a separate tab below the straight flap edge.
A leather-threaded chain runs through the upper body. At approximately 22 × 17 × 6 cm, this is a compact, relatively flat silhouette; its hologram and Chanel authenticity card accompany it.
