A metal plaque on this Chanel Container minaudière reads “PARIS–HAMBURG,” linking the piece directly to the house’s 2017/18 Métiers d’art collection. The ribbed plexiglass walls and compact rectangular body evoke a freight container, a design detail that gives the city reference meaning beyond the name alone.

Oversized CHANEL lettering runs across one side of the 20 × 9.5 × 8.5 cm case, while a silver-tone chain allows it to be carried. This Series 25 example comes with a hologram, Chanel authenticity card and dust bag.
